幼い頃から、自動車好きで、オートバイ嫌いだったので、学生時代に初めて乗り始めたのは、当然、自動車でした バイトをしながら、随分費やしていました
Since I was a child, I loved cars but hated motorcycles, so the first thing I started riding was a car when I was a student, and I spent a lot of time riding while working part-time.

学生時代、新聞配達のバイトで原付・カブ を乗っていたが、初めて所有した二輪車は、郵政仕様のカブでした。神戸へ引っ越した後も、ノーヘルで、しばらく乗っていました
The first motorcycle I owned as a student was a 50cc model for the postal service. Even after I graduated and moved to Kobe, I continued riding it for a while without a helmet.

都会暮らしには必要の無い車（ギャラン）を手放し、暇を持て余し、 興味半分で取った二輪免許と中古で買った XJ400で、波乱（？）の人生が幕を開けたのです
I got rid of my car, which I didn't need for city life, and got my motorcycle license out of curiosity. My second-hand XJ400 marked the beginning of a turbulent (?) life.

全く予想していなかったアクシデントにより、 僕の手元にやって来たのは水冷の新型車でしたが、まさか“因縁”や“人生訓”を僕に教えてくれるとは想像していませんでした

After a series of accidents involving 400cc vehicles, I debated whether to give up motorcycles or not, and finally decided on a large vehicle packed with innovative technology.

競技用として使用していたXJ400でしたが、排気量区分が異なる 最上級クラスでの参加を強いられ、全国大会へはカワサキ車両に限定された事から、Z750 GP を競技用として購入しました
I used the XJ400 for competition, but due to changes in regulations limiting national championships to Kawasaki motorcycles, I purchased a Z750 GP for competition.

偶然にV型2気筒車の優れた操縦性を体験し、見た事も無かったV型2気筒のブロスを買ったけれど、期待外れの操縦性の“使えない”車両でした。でも、優れた設計の部品とタイヤのお蔭で、殆ど無敵の存在になりました
After experiencing the superior handling of a V-twin, I purchased the Bros. without even test driving it. It was a "useless" machine with disappointing handling, but it soon became unbeatable.

1995年、大規模な地震で自宅が全壊になり、水や電気などのライフラインや交通インフラの壊滅が長期間続き、大きなストレスを発散する為に衝動買いした車両ですが、そんな運命的な出会いも1年余りで終わりました
